Meet & Greet at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway & transfer to Darjeeling the “Queen of the Hill station”. Its name is derived from “Dorje-Line” which means the place of “Dorje”, the mystic thunderbolt. After a very scenic drive through the mountains, reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel. Evening free to explore the surroundings on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early Morning at 4 AM visit Tiger Hill which is famous for its sunrise panorama over Mt. Kanchendzonga Peak. On the way back to hotel visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Upon reaching hotel breakfast will be served. Later, after getting freshen up you can proceed for local sightseeing including The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Rope way, Japanese Temple & Peace pagoda. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Kalimpong. Upon reaching Check-in at the hotel. Afterward it is time to visit Delo Hills, Dr. Grahm’s Home, Pine View Nursery, Jang-Dong-Palrifro-Brang Gompa, and Mangal Dham & Durpin Dara View Point & Jalepla View Point. The overnight stay shall be at the hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5500 Ft) the capital of Sikkim. Sikkim, the land of pristine and un-spoilt natural beauty with alpine landscapes, thick luxuriant forests, rivers and peaceful lakes. Upon arrival in Gangtok, Check in into hotel. Afternoon start half day sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls, Enchay Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Flower Show. Overnight stay at hotel.
Dedicate this day to Tsomgo Lake excursion (departure at 9 am ). This lake is situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft. & Baba Mandir – The shrine made in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh. By Evening return to Gangtok for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP or IXB Airport for you return journey……
