Visa Application Centres reopened in India

  • The Germany Visa Application Centre in Kolkata has resumed accepting limited applications for Transit Visas (C-Visa), Seafarers (C-Visa), Scholarship holders/PhD/Post-Doc Studies/Scientists (D-Visa; Eligibility Criteria: Invitation from German Institute and receiving a salary or stipend). The centre will operate three days a week as per local lockdown guidelines, from 9 AM to 2 PM.
  • The Estonia Visa Application Centres in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kochi have resumed accepting limited category C and D visa applications.
  • The France Visa Application Centre in South Mumbai will resume accepting student D visa category (long stay) applications, operating every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
  • The France Visa Application Centres in Bengaluru, Hyderabad has resumed accepting student D visa applications, operating Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM. The centre in Kolkata has resumed accepting student C and D visa applications, operating thrice a week from 9 AM to 3 PM.
  • The France Visa Application Centres in Chennai and Kochi are now accepting student and stay visa applications for spouses of a French citizen and EU D visas, operating Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM. The centre in Delhi is accepting student visa applications from Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
    From 20 August 2020, the Estonia Visa Application Centres in Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad will resume accepting limited category short and long stay applications, operating from 8 AM to 2 PM,
  • Monday to Friday.
  • The Denmark, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway and Switzerland Visa Application Centres in Kolkata have resumed accepting limited category long-stay applications, operating every Monday and Wednesday.
  • The Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, France and the Netherlands Visa Application Centres in Kolkata have resumed accepting limited category long and short stay applications, operating every Monday and Wednesday.
  • The Belgium Visa Application Centres in Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad are now accepting limited category short and long stay applications, operating every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the first half.
  • The Latvia Visa Application Centres in Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad are now accepting limited category long-stay applications, operating from 8 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • The Norway Visa Application Centre in Kochi is now accepting limited category long-stay applications, operating from 8 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • The Switzerland Visa Application Centre in South Mumbai (India) is now accepting long-stay D visa applications every Wednesday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
  • The Poland Visa Application Centre in South Mumbai has resumed accepting D visa category applications, operating every Tuesday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
  • The Switzerland Visa Application Centres in Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi (India) are now accepting limited long-stay category applications respectively. The centre in Bengaluru (India) is accepting exceptional case applications.
  • The Lithuania Visa Application Centres in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad are now accepting limited category long-stay applications.
    The Denmark Visa Application Centre in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad has resumed accepting limited category long-stay category applications.
    The Denmark, Norway and Portugal Visa Application Centres in New Delhi have resumed accepting long-stay visa applications, operating from 10 AM to 2 PM. Submissions will happen only through prior appointments.
  • The Austria Visa Application Centres in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi (India) has resumed accepting limited long-stay category applications.
  • The Belgium Visa Application Centre in South, Mumbai will resume accepting long-stay D visas and seafarer (short stay C visa) applications every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
  • The Croatia Visa Application Centre in Bengaluru (India) has resumed accepting exceptional case applications. The Croatia Visa Application Centres in Chennai and Hyderabad have resumed accepting limited long-stay category applications.
  • The Norway Visa Application Centre in Bengaluru (India) has resumed accepting limited category long-stay applications. The centres in Chennai and Hyderabad are now accepting limited long-stay category applications.
  • The Luxembourg Visa Application Centres in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai will resume operations on 31 July 2020, and in Bengaluru and Kochi on 3 August 2020. For the time being, the centres will only accept Type D applications, via mandatory Luxembourg VFS Website The centres will operate from 10 AM to 2 PM in New Delhi, and from 8 AM to 2 PM in Hyderabad and Chennai. Courier return of passports has been made mandatory owing to the current situation.
  • The Italy Visa Application Centre in Bengaluru is now accepting limited category applications. The centres in Chennai, Kochi and Hyderabad have resumed accepting limited long-stay category applications. The centre in Mumbai (South) has resumed accepting re-entry, seamen, student and emergency visa applications, operating from 10 AM to 2 PM.   • The Germany Visa Application Centres in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai (South) and Kochi are now accepting D Visa stamping (post-approval) applications, and prolongation of expired national visas.
  • The Malaysia Visa Application Centre in Chennai and Hyderabad have resumed single entry visa services. The centre in Mumbai (South) will resume accepting single entry visa applications only, operating from 9 AM to 1 PM.

  • UK Visas and Immigration has begun a phased resumption of services at Visa Application Centres in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru (Global Tech Park only), Chennai, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai (Mahalaxmi only), New Delhi (Shivaji Metro Stadium only), and Pune.   • The Ireland Visa Application Centres in Mumbai (South), Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Jalandhar, Chandigarh and Kolkata will resume accepting student and long-stay applications from 6 July 2020.
  • UAE eVisas for Emirates passengers travelling from 7 July 2020, are now being processed.
  • The Dominican Republic Visa Application Centre in New Delhi has resumed accepting work, resident and business visa applications. The centre will operate for limited hours.
  • The Portugal Visa Application Centre in Chennai is now accepting limited long-stay category applications. For Portugal, only E6 applications for holders of expired Portuguese residence card, and D6 for holders of expired Family Reunification D6 visas are being accepted. No other categories are being accepted until further notice.
  • The South Korea centres will also resume in New Delhi, accepting long-stay applications, operating from 10 AM to 1 PM.
