ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival at Cochin Airport

Arrival at Cochin then proceed to Munnar. On the way visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Thars. Evening at leisure, overnight stay at Munnar.

DAY 2: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride, Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points, Rajamalai Eravikulam National Park and Tea Powder Shopping. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady (Wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation)

Morning proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Then proceed to Periyar Lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat, Kathakali Show, Kalaripayattu Show (Ate extra cost) Stay in Thekkady

DAY 4: Thekkady to Rameshwaram via Madurai

Morning after breakfast drive to Rameshwaram. Enroute to visit Madurai Temple, after reach Rameshwaram check-in the Hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 5: Rameshwaram Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast Visit Rameshwaram Temple, Dhanush Kodi, overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 6: Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari

Morning after breakfast drive to Kanyakumari. After reach Visit Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial, Devi Kanya Kumari Temple. Enjoy the stay in Hotel at Kanyakumari.

DAY 7: Kanyakumari to Kovalam

Morning after breakfast drive to Kovalam Enroute visit Poovar after reach check-in the Hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 8: Kovalam sightseeing

Morning after breakfast Visit Kovalam Beach and Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivendrum (if Time Permit), in evening come back to the hotel and overnight stay at Resort.

DAY 9: Kovalam to Alleppey (Backwaters)

Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. Visit Alleppey Beach, Alleppey Backwaters. enjoy the stay in Houseboat at Alleppey.

DAY 10: Alleppey to Cochin

Morning after breakfast proceed to Cochin after reach visit Cochin sightseeing Folklore Museum, Jew Town, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese Fishing Nets, Marine Drive, Lulu Mall, Cochin Shopping(if time permit) and later drop to cochin airport for onward journey.
