Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi, Finland

Arrival in Airport. Transfer to hotel and check in hotel as per standard timings. Day is free for leisure or shopping.

Experience an exciting chase for the Northern Lights on this 3-hour adventure tour including transfers between the different spotting locations. After a pickup from your accommodation, embark on your Northern Lights discovery tour starting from Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi. You will be taken into different areas by your guide-driver, who will make sure to find the best locations to view the Northern Lights. This region of the Arctic Circle offers some of the highest levels of Northern Lights activity on Earth. Along the way, you will also get to enjoy the breathtaking Lapland landscapes and magical snowy fields. If you are lucky and the sky is clear, you might see the flaming Northern Lights dancing in the sky as you experience the tranquility of the Arctic night.

Day 2: Rovaniemi, Finland

Immerse yourself in truly authentic Lappish culture with the country’s magical, gentle reindeer. Experience the tranquillity of the local forests as you travel along the glittering snowy trail on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer. After being picked up from your hotel, you will meet the local reindeer herders and familiarize yourself with their culture and everyday life. Take the opportunity to feed the reindeer and take pictures with them. Then, you will depart the farm in a storybook wooden sled, wrapped up in warm blankets, for a short journey with the reindeer into the forest. To show all your friends back home, you’ll receive a certified reindeer sleigh driving license. After returning from your mystical ride, cuddle up in the cozy traditional Lappish hut while listening to the farmer as they share stories of the local history and culture. Taste some steaming beverages and cookies, the all-time favorite for locals to warm up in the winter time.

Join this exciting tour opportunity in Rovaniemi for a dose of adrenaline-fuelled snowmobiling action. This is a fantastic tour choice for those looking to pack in some adventure during their time exploring Lapland's gorgeous natural surroundings. To begin this snowmobiling adventure, you will be picked up at your accommodation. Meet your qualified guide and get dressed up in an insulated winter overall. After a short briefing, you will step into a modified Super Jeep and drive up the forest to the snowmobile base. Once participants have had a short briefing on how to operate the snowmobiles and have been provided with necessary safety equipment, you will pull the throttle and make the hair-raising journey into the Arctic Circle forests and lakes. Prepare for some serious speed as you find yourself whizzing across the wild! You will stop to rest before you come back to base and enjoy hot drinks and gingerbread.
