1. Delhi to Rajasthan

The best place to start with is from Delhi and instant trip can be to the state of Royals – Rajasthan. The capital city of the state Jaipur is hardly five kilometers from Delhi; from where you can drive further to explore Jodhpur, Udaipur, Pushkar, Ajmer, Jaisalmer or Mount Abu. If you have an urge to explore history, royalty and colours, this road trip is for you, which will take you through mesmerizing forts, palaces, lakes, temples, and of course deserts. 2. Delhi to Rishikesh & further hill stations

It also takes 5-6 hours from Delhi, covering Meerut, Muzzafarnagar and Haridwar. Once in Rishikesh, you can indulge in different activities like camping, water rafting, attending Aarti or yoga sessions beside the Ganga River. And then move further to picturesque hill stations like Dehradun, Mussorie, Auli or Spiti.

3. Nature Trail from East to North-East

If you are planning a road trip from Eastern state of West Bengal, plan a trip from Siliguri and from here you can drive upto Darjeeling where you can spend couple of days here, exploring nature, tea estates and toy train. From here, take a beautiful journey to the cleanest state Sikkim to cover the places like Pelling, Gangtok, Lachung and Nathang Valley. While travelling through the zig-zag road of the old silk route going up to the mountains, you will experience long expanses of snow, and you will literally feel ‘above the clouds’.  The best part about this trip is that it will give you the opportunity to feast your eyes on the third highest mountain in the world, the Kanchenjunga.

4. Delhi to Valley of Flowers, Lansdowne

The real tryst with the nature and valleys can only be happen at Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand. If you start from Delhi, you can stop at Lansdowne and Chopta and after explore the nature valley of flowers, you may go further to explore mountainous places of Almora and Ranikhet. And the trip can be wrapped up the trip by spending a night at Nainital.

5. Trip to Ladakh via Switzerland of India – Kashmir

The most popular road trip among the bikers is Delhi to Ladakh via Manali in Himachal. It is the most beautiful road trip, starting from Delhi; covering a bit of Haryana and an essence of Punjab and stay in the mountain valley of Manali. From here the mountainous journey begins to Jammu, Leh and Srinagar and Ladakh. This trip is about 2500 km; so need good time of around 12-15 days.
